Video and photography is not permitted due to the personal security requirements of some participants. There may be exceptions made for short periods of time during certain components of the program with the consent of all course participants and instructors.

* Duty Belt & Red Gun
*Comfortable training clothing. BDUs, t-shirts, cargo shorts, are all common.
*Disposable long sleeve t-shirt or BDU Jacket or martial arts jacket (gi) for grip and attachment work.
*Mouth guard & 14-16 OZ Boxing Gloves (no lightweight MMA gloves).
*Ample water bottles, training towels, several spare t-shirts (due to sweat). Fluids not allowed directly on mat.
*Wresting shoes or soft sole shoes that will not damage mats. Please only wear them in training area. Bring an extra pair of shoes to use before and after training.
*Small personal first aid kit containing tissues, band aids and antiseptic lotion to treat minor scratches.
*Sufficient snacks and hydrating fluids to last each day
**NO firearms, ammunition, knives, batons, OC or TASER unless by prior approval of course instructor.

Certification for competent training hours will be issued for those who successfully complete their training. Letter from the ISR Matrix President –
Unfortunately due to all the closures of local businesses for the foreseeable future in the Reno/Sparks area we will have to postpone this course. The current restrictions in this area are expected to last for approximately three weeks with the possibility to be extended.
We understand staffing can be an issue with departments so we want postpone the course to Monday, October 5th through Friday October 9th 2020. This pushes it far enough out to allow your agencies to prepare and make arrangements.

ISR Matrix 2019 Civilian Summit – ISR-CLUTCH: Self-Defense and Personal Protection
Open to adults ages 18 and older.

Description: Participants will be introduced to the ISR Matrix’s Close Quarter Defense & Personal Protection System, the ISR Matrix Clutch. The ISR Matrix’s approach to criminal probes, interviews and set ups will be addressed as well as the strategies and tactics in dealing with the violence that can and may follow. This particular course will be unique in that it will introduce much of the close quarter combative tactics previously unavailable to civilians and showcase elements from all three of its initial hand to hand phases including portions of its clinch with cloth (attached fighting), improvised weapons, and counter knife / defensive knife modules. Participants should expect and be prepared for moderate levels of exercise and training. The majority of this initial introductory course will be information driven in regards to showcasing unique ways in dealing with violence within close quarters and the clinch but like all ISR training will be equally matched with drills, pressure testing, teach backs and plenty of instruction to assure all those who participate can retain what they have learned and take it back home with them.
Topics to be covered and trained:
1. Off the X (Interviews/ Probes – Set Ups & Sucker Punches)
2. Striking and Entries/ Intercepts to tie ups and the clinch.
3. Clinch with Cloth (Attached Striking & Takedowns)

Twenty Four hours of exciting, challenging and rewarding training like no other. This training course will not be about traditional, modern, mixed or so called “reality based” martial arts. This training course will be the first of its kind and involve the civilian self-defense and protection system called the ISR Matrix Clutch which was built and developed from the company’s work with Counter-Terrorism Teams, Undercover Operatives, Federal Agents and Military Specialty teams from around the world.

Participants will be introduced to the full spectrum of what the ISR Matrix Clutch CQB system has to offer civilians seeking out real world personal defense and protection. Training will consist of 8 hour training days with breaks for lunch and progressively cover and integrate all hand to hand tactics and their transitions to tool use including dry fire drills.
All of those attending should bring the following items: Boxing gloves, MMA gloves, mouthpiece, a disposable hoodie, notebook and pen (phones, computers or tablets are not permitted) and comfortable gym wear for training.
Additional extra-curricular activities and events will be scheduled, such as laser tag tournament, go-cart racing, escape room challenge, Lake Tahoe water activities, for any and all who wish to participate.
